Selfie Poses Trending Among Koreans! 📸

Korean Selfie Poses

Hello, everyone! Today, we're going to explore the popular selfie poses among Koreans and look at examples through photos of K-POP idols. Checking out various poses and trying them out yourself when you visit Korea sounds like a great idea, doesn’t it? 🌍💖

1.Selfie within a Selfie

The first pose is taking a picture of someone taking a selfie with their phone. This hip and cute pose is trending, and while you can follow the basic format, you can also add your unique twist to it. Example: Karina and Winter from aespa.

2. MZ Mirror Selfie

The second pose involves setting your phone to selfie mode and taking a mirror selfie with both the phone and yourself in the frame. It’s an upgraded version of the old mirror selfie where only the mirror was captured with the rear camera. This pose is quite challenging as you have to pay attention to the angle and how you appear on the phone screen. Example: Leeseo from IVE.

3. Aerial Shot

The third pose, currently one of the most loved, is the aerial shot. Extending your arm straight up as if a drone or helicopter is filming you, this pose does not require you to worry about proportions or detailed posing and can be used in various ways, making it a popular choice. Example: Jisoo from BLACKPINK.

4. Sand Heart Shot

The fourth pose is a must-take if you visit the beach: the sand heart shot! You dig a heart shape into the sand, set a timer on your phone, place it inside the heart, and take the picture. Many say it’s harder than it looks to dig deep enough and get the angle right. However, if you come to Bucket, the crew might help you take it at Hamo Beach, just 5 minutes from the accommodation….? 🤭 Example: Not an idol, but Ma Dong-seok.

5. Insider Shot

The last pose is the group shot that only insiders can pull off: the multi-phone shot. This pose involves multiple people taking pictures of the main subject with their phones, and then someone else capturing all the phones in one shot. It requires several people and phones and can be quite challenging to execute. Example: Arin from Oh My Girl.
