🔥The winter solstice is one of the 24 solar terms, marking the longest night and the beginning of longer days. It is traditional to eat red bean porridge to drive away bad energy and wish for good luck and health.



🔥It is made from various ingredients such as red beans, glutinous rice, nuts, and dried persimmons. The red color of the beans is said to ward off evil spirits, and the warm porridge is soothing to the body.



🔥Traditionally, red bean porridge has been made by hand at home. Our bucket team created a program to teach you how to make traditional Korean food and learn more about Korean culture!
